| En février, un nouveau gouvernement a été élu et comprend pour la première fois depuis les accords de Nouméa une majorité d’indépendantistes. La situation n’est pas si simple et les divisions entre les différents partis bien profondes. Le pays a surtout besoin d’une bonne gouvernance quelque soit le parti au pouvoir. Pour les deux premières semaines de mars je serais à Ponérihouen pour enseigner les cours intensifs de la formation pastorale. Les élèves de première année commenceront avec un survol de toute la Bible pour montrer que le message de la Bible est unifié et cohérent comme si une seule personne l’avait écrite. Ce qui est vrai si on accepte que l’auteur est Dieu. Quand aux étudiants de deuxième année, ils vont se pencher sur les 5 premiers livres de la Bible écrits par Moïse. | In February, the government was brought down. The aim is to get them to see the unity and coherence of the Word of God who is the unique author. The second year students will be looking at the first five books of the Bible written by Moses. |
| Un projet qui est proche d’aboutir est de faire venir une Expo-Bible qui comprend l’histoire de l’arrivée de l’évangile en Nouvelle Calédonie et la traduction de la Bible en langue locale. Les tâches qui restent à faire sont la validation final et l’impression des tableaux, ainsi que de constituer un jeu d’échantillons pour embellir l’exposition. Si vous avez de vieilles Bibles ou d’autres objets qui pourraient venir agrémenter l’exposition, je vous prie de bien vouloir me contacter. | One of the projects I’ve been working on is to bring a Bible Exhibition that includes the history of the arrival of the gospel in New Caledonia and the translation of the Bible into indigenous languages.
